CONSENTS & DISCLAIMERS

When participating in any Jazzie Shazzies session, undertaken by yourself, the child/ren in your care and any other person/s attending Jazzie Shazzies, you do so at our own risk. By particpating in a Jazzie Shazzie class you understand that no liability for personal injury, loss or damage to personal effects is accepted by Jazzie Shazzies. Participants and all spectators attending, agree to abide by the Policies and Procedures for Jazzie Shazzies (which are available to read at any time at a Jazzie Shazzie class).

CHILD SUPERVISION:

The parent/caregiver must not leave their child/ren unattended at any time inside or outside of the venue regardless of age. All children must be accompanied to the toilet.

The parent/caregiver is responsible for their child/ren’s behaviour at all times and must intervene if their child/ren becomes disruptive to any other child, parent/caregiver, staff member or the program.

PRIVACY/CONFIDENTIALITY:

Upon booking into a Jazzie Shazzies class, parents/caregivers are required to supply personal information (including names, dates of birth, addresses, email addresses, and mobile numbers) as well as any health information that may affect participation in the classes. All personal information and health information collected is treated as strictly confidential and records of such information are either stored in password protected computer files or in a secured physical allocation that is accessible by Jazzie Shazzies staff only.

PHOTOGRAPHING/VIDEO:

Parents/caregivers are permitted to photograph their child/ren during the Jazzie Shazzies class.

Parents are asked to use discretion and to consider other families stance on social media sites such as Facebook and Instagram when posting and commenting on photos from Jazzie Shazzies classes.

REFUND/CANELLATION POLICY:

We do not have a cancellation fee/ policy. If you simply don’t show, we hope you can return again next time.

 

STAMP CARDS

Available to use at any venue / location. Cards do not expire. You may use cards over as many terms until the card is completed. Cards unfortunately cannot be used during special events or for another child (eg. a friend).

 

SIBLINGS:

Jazzie Shazzies is designed for children 1 to 5 years of age. If your child is under 1 years of age and would like to attend a session to “see how they go” you are welcome to bring them to class. Younger siblings (under one years of age and not moving about are not charged for the class). Once a younger sibling is over one years old and is participating fully in the class they will be charged a class fee.

All siblings are welcome, even those over 5 years of age, however if they join in with the class, parent/carers will be charged the full fee.

 

UNWELL CHILD:

In order to protect the safety of all children, families and staff attending Jazzie Shazzies, we request that any child that is unwell and/or infectious to be kept at home to rest and recover.

EQUIPMENT:

Equipment and props used during Jazzie Shazzies are cleaned, washed and wiped down on a regular basis.

Jazzie Shazzies staff reserve the right to request that equipment be removed from any child who may potentially cause damage to the equipment and/or hall and/or harm to themselves or others in class.

INJURIES DURING A CLASS:

Parent/carers waive the right to any legal action against Jazzie Shazzies for any injury sustained resulting from any activity conducted before, during or after classes.
